Who may be able to join
- People who are 50 years of age or older AND meet at least one of the following conditions:
- People who have been exposed to wood smoke for at least 100 hours per year
- People who have a parent, sibling, or child who has been diagnosed with lung cancer
- People who have been diagnosed with COPD and/or emphysema
- People who smoke or have smoked, with a tobacco history of 10 or more pack-years (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join

- People who have been diagnosed with lung cancer or any other active cancer in the 5 years before screening
- People whose medical records or health information are incomplete
- People who have lost 10% or more of their body weight in the 6 months before joining the study
- People whose physical health, mental health, or other medical conditions would prevent them from receiving curative (aimed at curing the disease) treatment
- People who, for any reason, are not suitable for a low-dose CT scan (a type of chest imaging) (confirm with trial site)
- People whose life expectancy is 5 years or less
- People who have previously been found to have nodules (small lumps or growths) in their lungs
