Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a depressive episode according to standard psychiatric guidelines (called DSM-5), confirmed by two separate psychiatrists
- People whose condition meets the medical criteria for a treatment called ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) or MST (magnetic seizure therapy)
- People who have completed at least 5 years of schooling and do not have significant problems with hearing or vision

- People who have received ECT or MST treatment within the past six months
