Who might be able to join this trial:
- You identify as a racial or ethnic minority and are scheduled to have a heart rhythm procedure (called ablation) for atrial fibrillation (AF) using a specific approved device made by Boston Scientific
- You have been diagnosed with symptomatic AF that comes and goes (paroxysmal) or has been ongoing for less than a year (persistent), and your doctor has decided you are a good candidate for an ablation procedure
- You are 18 years of age or older (unless you are returning for a repeat procedure that was already part of this study)
- You are willing and able to attend follow-up appointments throughout the study period
- You are willing and able to give your consent to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves a specific treatment plan, or you are testing another investigational drug or device
- Your atrial fibrillation has been continuous for more than 1 year (known as long-standing persistent AF)
- You have had a previous ablation procedure for AF, unless that first procedure was already done as part of this same study registry
- Your doctor determines that there is a medical reason why you should not have an ablation procedure (confirm with trial site)
