Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 80 years old, or those with a life expectancy of more than 3 years
- People who are scheduled to have a colonoscopy at Peking Union Medical College Hospital
- People who have had a CT scan of the abdomen or pelvis within the last 5 years and have not had major abdominal surgery since that scan
- People, or their legal guardian, who are able to understand the study and sign a written consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not have a CT scan available, or whose CT scan is not clear enough to assess the body's internal structure
- People who have previously had surgery on the colon that has changed how it is arranged inside the body (for example, removal of part of the colon)
- People with serious heart or lung problems, or a condition that affects blood clotting
- People who are pregnant
- People who do not wish to take part, or who are unable to complete questionnaires
- People, or their legal guardian, who are unable to understand what the study involves
