Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older, of any sex
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range, as measured by a standard oncology scale (ECOG score of 0–2), with a life expectancy of more than 3 months
- People who have been diagnosed through laboratory testing with high-risk stage II colorectal cancer after surgery, confirmed by tissue analysis
- People whose blood test for circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA — tiny fragments of cancer-related genetic material in the blood) came back positive approximately one month after surgery
- People with a life expectancy of more than 12 months
- People who are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part, either personally or through a legal guardian or representative
Who may not be able to join:
- People who received treatment (such as chemotherapy or radiation) before their surgery
- People who had a blood transfusion during surgery or in the two weeks before surgery
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people capable of having children who are not using adequate contraception
- People who have had another type of cancer in the past 5 years, with the exception of certain treated skin cancers or early-stage cervical cancer that has been adequately treated
- People with uncontrolled brain tumours or cancer that has spread to the brain or nervous system, or who have significant pressure in the brain or serious neurological or psychiatric symptoms
- People with severe or uncontrolled ongoing health conditions, including: serious heart problems within the past 6 months (such as heart attack, heart failure, unstable chest pain, fluid around the heart, or dangerous irregular heartbeat); diagnosed neurological or psychiatric conditions such as dementia or seizure disorders; severe or uncontrolled infections; active blood clotting disorders or significant bleeding problems; or significant loss of function in major organs
- People who, for any other reason, the trial doctors consider unsuitable for participation
