Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older, of any sex
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range on a standard medical scale (ECOG score of 0–2), with a life expectancy of more than 3 months
- People who have been diagnosed through laboratory testing with high-risk stage II colorectal cancer after surgery
- People who have a specific cancer marker in their blood (called ctDNA) that tested positive about one month after their surgery
- People with a life expectancy of more than 12 months
- People who are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study (this can be done through a legal guardian or representative if needed)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who received cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy or radiation) before their surgery
- People who received a blood transfusion during surgery or in the two weeks before surgery
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people who are capable of having children and are not using adequate contraception
- People who have been diagnosed with another cancer in the past 5 years (exceptions may apply for certain early-stage cervical or skin cancers — confirm with trial site)
- People who have uncontrolled brain tumours or cancer that has spread to the brain or nervous system, or who have significant pressure in the brain or serious neurological or psychiatric symptoms
- People with serious or uncontrolled health conditions, including: unstable heart conditions such as heart attack, heart failure, unstable chest pain, or irregular heartbeat within the past 6 months; diagnosed neurological or psychiatric conditions such as dementia or seizure disorders; severe or uncontrolled infections; active bleeding disorders; significant loss of function in major organs; or any other condition the trial doctors consider would make participation unsafe
