- People who have an unstable serious illness that requires urgent medication or surgery
- People who have a personal or family history of epilepsy
- People who have a history of moderate to severe mental health or psychological conditions
- People who have ongoing sleep difficulties (chronic insomnia) or regularly use sleeping tablets or sedatives
- People who are currently taking medications that significantly affect brain activity or nervous system excitability (confirm specific medications with trial site)
