Who might be able to join this trial:
For Parts A and B:
- People between 18 and 65 years of age
- People who are generally in good health with no significant medical conditions
For Part C:
- People between 40 and 75 years of age
- People who have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes
Who may not be able to join:
For Parts A and B:
- People who have a history of low blood pressure, fainting, or dizziness when standing up
- People whose blood pressure readings are above a certain level (top number above 140 or bottom number above 90)
For Part C:
- People whose blood sugar control measure (a test called HbA1c) was above 10% in the last 3 months
- People who have a history of low blood pressure, fainting, or dizziness when standing up
- People whose blood pressure readings are above a certain level (top number above 160 or bottom number above 100)
