Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with neuropathic pain (a type of pain caused by nerve damage or nerve problems) based on a doctor's assessment
- People whose pain scores on specific neuropathic pain questionnaires (called DN4 and/or LANSS) are consistent with neuropathic pain
- People who are already receiving a sympathetic nerve block as part of their regular medical treatment
- People who have blood test results available from both before and after treatment
- People who are able to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People under the age of 18
- People who currently have an active infection or an acute inflammatory condition
- People with an active cancer diagnosis
- People with a history of blood or bone marrow disorders
- People currently taking medications that suppress the immune system or long-term steroid tablets
- People who have had major surgery or a serious physical injury within the past month
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with an autoimmune or inflammatory joint/tissue disease (such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
- People for whom follow-up medical data is not available
