Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been formally diagnosed with Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease using a specific set of established diagnostic guidelines (known as the UK Parkinson's Disease Society Brain Bank Diagnostic Criteria).
• People whose Parkinson's Disease is rated between stage 1 and stage 3 on a standard scale used to measure how far the condition has progressed (called the Hoehn & Yahr Scale), including the in-between stages 1.5 and 2.5.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been diagnosed with a neurological condition other than Parkinson's Disease.
• People who have been diagnosed with a heart, lung, or metabolic condition (such as diabetes) or any other health condition that means physical exercise is not medically safe for them.
• People who have had a significant worsening of their condition or a hospital stay in the three months before the study assessments begin, or during the treatment period.
• People who have received a course of steroid medication — either by injection into a vein or taken by mouth — in the six months before the study begins, or during the treatment period.
• People who have significant difficulties with memory or thinking (specifically, a score below 21 on a standard cognitive test called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment), or who have language difficulties that would make it hard to understand or follow exercise instructions.
• People who have taken part in a structured, personalised strength training or aerobic exercise program in the three months before enrolling in the trial.
