Who may be able to join
- People who have been officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
- People whose MS-related walking and mobility difficulties fall within a specific moderate-to-severe range, as measured by a scale called the Patient-Determined Disease Steps (PDDS), with a score between 3 and 6.
- People who have not had an MS relapse (a flare-up of symptoms) for at least 6 months before joining the trial.
- People aged 18 to 75 years old.
- People whose blood oxygen level is 95% or higher when breathing normal room air.
- People whose blood pressure falls within a specific range: the top number between 85 and 140, and the bottom number between 55 and 90.

- People who are able to walk at least 10 metres, with or without a walking aid.
- People who are able to actively move their foot up and down at the ankle.
Who may not be able to join

- People with blood pressure that is not well controlled, or that falls outside the required ranges listed above.
- People with a history of epilepsy or seizures.
- People with lung, heart, or bone and joint conditions that are not well controlled.
- People with a significant mental health condition, either before their MS diagnosis or currently, such as severe depression or psychosis.
- People with another neurological condition in addition to MS, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or nerve damage in the limbs.
- People with illnesses that could potentially cause injury to the brain.
- People who experience frequent or severe headaches that have no known cause.
- People who are pregnant.
- People who have an implanted medical device inside their body, such as a pacemaker, a drug pump placed in the spine, or a brain stimulation device.
