Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), such as pain, tingling, or numbness in the hand in the area controlled by the median nerve
• You are pregnant and in your first or second trimester
• Your carpal tunnel syndrome has been diagnosed as mild to moderate
• You have been experiencing wrist pain for at least 6 to 8 weeks, and it was not caused by an injury or a specific diagnosis like a fracture or arthritis
• Your pain level is rated between 3 and 5 out of 10 on a standard pain scale
• You have a neurological condition such as carpal tunnel syndrome or a nerve-related issue coming from the neck (confirm with trial site)
• You have not received physical therapy for wrist pain in the last 3 to 6 months

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had a traumatic injury, broken bone, or surgery involving your wrist or hand
• You have been diagnosed with a whole-body disease that affects the wrist, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or nerve damage related to diabetes
• You have a skin condition or infection around your wrist that would make physical therapy unsafe
• You are in your third trimester of pregnancy
• You have serious heart or metabolic health conditions
• You are currently receiving other treatments specifically for carpal tunnel syndrome, such as steroid injections
