Who may be able to join

  • People aged between 45 and 74 years old.
  • People who have lived in a participating community for at least 6 months out of the past 12 months.
  • People who are taking part in an urban cancer screening program.
  • People who have been identified by the program's risk assessment questionnaire as being at high risk for at least one of these cancers: lung, breast, colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, or liver cancer.

Who may not be able to join

  • People who have already been diagnosed with any of the cancers this trial focuses on, including lung, breast, colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, or liver cancer.
  • People with severe memory or thinking difficulties, severe mental illness, or other conditions that would prevent them from taking part in the study activities or completing questionnaires.
  • People who are planning to be away from their community for more than 3 months in total over the next 6 months.
  • People who are currently taking part in another research study that could affect their cancer screening behaviour.
