PMS/PMDD Study

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who were assigned female at birth
  • People between the ages of 18 and 45
  • People whose menstrual cycle occurs naturally, without hormonal intervention
  • People who have regular menstrual cycles
  • People who identify as having PMS or PMDD
  • People who are able to reliably complete online surveys as part of the study

  • People who have any implanted medical devices
  • People with a current or previous diagnosis of any heart condition

  • People who are currently taking SSRIs (a type of prescription medication)
  • People who are currently taking steroids
  • People who are currently taking hormone therapy

Perimenopause Study

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who were assigned female at birth
  • People between the ages of 40 and 55
  • People who have recently noticed changes in the regularity of their menstrual cycle, or who identify as perimenopausal
  • People who are able to reliably complete online surveys as part of the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are currently using hormonal birth control
  • People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
  • People with a history of seizures
  • People who have any implanted medical devices
  • People with a current or previous diagnosis of any heart condition
  • People with abnormal ear anatomy (confirm with trial site)
  • People with piercings on the ear that cannot be removed
  • People who have had a recent ear infection
  • People who are currently taking SSRIs (a type of prescription medication)
  • People who are currently taking steroids
  • People who are currently taking hormone therapy
  • People who expect to start or stop any prescription medications during the study period
