Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (the most common form of Parkinson's, with no known cause)

- People who have cognitive difficulties, psychiatric conditions, or other health conditions (such as dementia, epilepsy, a history of serious head injury, brain tumour, schizophrenia, severe depression, bipolar disorder, or personality disorder) that could affect their ability to complete assessments or give informed consent
- People who have abnormal anatomy in the area of the brain being targeted in this trial
- People with a significant medical history that could increase the risk of complications before or after surgery
- People with any other condition that the trial investigators believe could interfere with the surgery, follow-up visits, or the accuracy of the trial results (confirm with trial site)
