For endoscopists (doctors who perform colonoscopies):
- Doctors who perform colonoscopies, at any experience level or grade, may be eligible to participate
- The endoscopist must not have previously used the clinical decision support tool being studied in this trial
For patients:
- People who have been referred for a colonoscopy with the appropriate bowel preparation completed may be eligible
- People in whom a colorectal polyp of 20mm or larger in size has been found, or who have been referred to have one removed, may be eligible
- The polyp must be of a flat or non-raised type (non-pedunculated morphology — confirm with trial site)
- The polyp must not be of a specific type called sessile serrated (confirm with trial site)
- People who have signed consent forms for both the procedure and participation in the trial may be eligible
Who may not be able to join:
For endoscopists:
- Doctors who do not agree to take part in the trial
- Doctors who do not complete the required learning activity as part of the study
- Doctors who do not have a connection to colonoscopy or gastrointestinal endoscopy
For patients:
- People who do not agree to have their data collected for the study
- People whose procedure video is considered to be of insufficient quality, as assessed by the principal investigator
