Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 or older, of any gender.
- People who are able to understand the study and are willing to take part voluntarily, and who have given their written consent to participate.
- People whose non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer) has been confirmed by a tissue or cell sample test. Mixed types may be eligible if the adenocarcinoma type (a specific subtype of lung cancer) is the main one present.
- People who have been diagnosed with locally advanced or metastatic (spread to other parts of the body) non-small cell lung cancer.
- For the dose escalation and backfill parts of the trial: people whose cancer has progressed after receiving at least one prior treatment using a specific class of targeted therapy called a third-generation EGFR-TKI, either alone or in combination with other treatments, and who have also received at least two prior lines of treatment overall. Their tumour must also show a protein called PD-L1 at a certain level, and must have a specific gene change (EGFR alteration) confirmed by testing (confirm with trial site).
- For the expansion part of the trial: people who have not yet received any systemic (whole-body) cancer treatment for their locally advanced or metastatic disease. Their tumour must show PD-L1 expression at a certain level, and must have an EGFR gene alteration confirmed by testing (confirm with trial site).
- People who have at least one measurable tumour that can be tracked during the trial.
- People who have a good general level of physical functioning, rated 0 or 1 on a standard scale used by doctors to assess this (confirm with trial site).
- People whose life expectancy after starting treatment is expected to be more than 12 weeks.
Who may not be able to join
