Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) by a neurologist within the past 2 years (self-reported)
- People who have not had a relapse of their MS in the past 30 days
- People whose primary language is English, both spoken and written
- People who have access to the internet and email
- People who are willing to complete all parts of the study as required
- People who are able to walk without the use of a walking aid or assistive device
- People who are not currently active enough — as measured by a specific exercise questionnaire called the Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire (confirm with trial site)
- People who are able to read a newsletter printed in size 14 font
- People who have been on the same MS disease-modifying medication for at least 6 months without changes
Who may not be able to join

- People who are pregnant
- People who are found to have a higher risk of doing intense physical exercise, based on answering "yes" to two or more questions on a standard health screening questionnaire called the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
