Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are older than 19 years of age
- You are able to talk through and understand the risks, benefits, and other treatment options, and you (or your legal representative) are willing to sign a consent form before any study procedures begin
- You have a significant blockage (more than 50%) in one of your heart's arteries, either in a natural artery or in an area where a stent was previously placed
- You have signs that your heart is not getting enough blood — for example, chest pain (stable or unstable), a recent or ongoing heart attack, or test results showing reduced blood flow to the heart (if your blockage is greater than 75%, this evidence is not required)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a known allergy or serious reaction to any of the following: heparin, aspirin, clopidogrel, prasugrel, ticagrelor, certain stent-coating drugs (biolimus A9, everolimus, or zotarolimus), stainless steel, cobalt chromium, or contrast dye used in imaging — note: people with a manageable sensitivity to contrast dye may still be considered, but those who have had a severe allergic (anaphylactic) reaction to contrast dye cannot join
- You have received biolimus A9, everolimus, or zotarolimus by injection directly into the bloodstream within the past 12 months
- You are a woman who could become pregnant, unless a recent pregnancy test is negative, and you may wish to become pregnant at any point after joining the study
- You are already planning a non-emergency surgery within the first 12 months after joining that would require you to stop taking blood-thinning medication
- You have a serious non-heart-related health condition that means your life expectancy is less than 2 years, or that may make it difficult for you to follow the study requirements (confirm with trial site)
- You are in cardiogenic shock (your heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet your body's needs) at the time of enrollment
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial for a drug or medical device and have not yet completed the main follow-up period of that study
