Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 50 years old who have been diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures, fainting, drowning, cardiac arrest, sudden death, or who have had an abnormal heart test (ECG) suggesting an irregular heartbeat
- Blood relatives (aged 18 or older) of someone who has a history of epilepsy, seizures, cardiac arrest, sudden death, drowning, fainting, or an irregular heartbeat
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to sign a written consent form
- People who are currently in prison
- People whose seizures were caused by a stroke or lack of blood flow to the brain
- People who had seizures caused by a brain injury from an accident or physical trauma
- People who have previously had surgery on their brain
- People who have a history of a brain tumour
