Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer (bowel cancer) that has spread to the liver, confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy)
• You have at least one liver tumour that can be measured using standard scanning methods
• Your cancer has only spread to the liver, or if it has also spread to the lungs, there are no more than 3 lung spots and each one is smaller than 10mm
• Your tumour has been tested to find out whether it has specific gene changes (called RAS, KRAS, and NRAS mutations)
• You are 18 years old or older

• You have not had chemotherapy before, unless it was given around the time of surgery and finished more than 12 months ago
• Your doctors expect you to live for more than 3 months

• Your liver and kidney function blood test results are within acceptable ranges (confirm with trial site)
• Your kidney function meets a minimum level measured by a specific calculation

Who may not be able to join:

• You currently have an active stomach or duodenal ulcer, an unhealed wound, or a broken bone that has not yet healed

• You have had an organ transplant, are HIV positive, or have another condition that affects your immune system
• You have had serious, ongoing liver, kidney, or breathing problems in the past 6 months that are not well controlled
• You have significant nerve damage in your hands or feet (peripheral neuropathy above a mild level)
• You have a lung condition called interstitial pneumonitis or pulmonary fibrosis
• You have a history of severe chronic diarrhoea, inflammatory bowel disease, or a current blockage in your bowel
• You have had another cancer in the past 5 years, unless it was a certain type of treated skin cancer or early-stage cervical cancer now in full remission
• You are already taking part in another clinical trial involving an experimental treatment
• You have a known allergy or serious reaction to any of the medicines used in this trial
• You have a known deficiency of an enzyme called DPD (which affects how certain chemotherapy drugs are processed by the body)
• Your heart's electrical activity (measured by an ECG) shows a reading that is too high (above 450 milliseconds for men or 470 milliseconds for women)
• Your blood levels of potassium, magnesium, or calcium are below the normal range
• You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or of childbearing age and not using effective contraception, or have not had a pregnancy test when required
• You are currently under legal supervision or have restrictions on your freedom
• It would not be possible for you to attend regular medical check-ups during the trial due to where you live, your personal situation, or other reasons
