Who may be able to join
- The person has scored 25 or higher on a standard anxiety questionnaire (called the SCARED) and has previously been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder by a doctor.
- The person is between 9 and 17 years old.
- If the person is taking any medication that affects mood or mental health, the dose must have been stable for at least one month before joining the study.
Who may not be able to join

- The person's anxiety has only occurred during episodes of major depression, another serious mental health condition, dementia, intellectual disability, or a brain disease.
- The person is currently taking part in another drug or device study, or fewer than 30 days have passed since their last participation in such a study.
- The person is already receiving breathing biofeedback treatment somewhere else.
- The person shows signs of serious thoughts of suicide or is experiencing psychosis.
- The person has an active asthma condition.
