Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), either confirmed by a tissue sample or by medical imaging
- People who have 1 to 3 liver tumours that are suitable for a type of targeted radiation treatment called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)
- People whose case has been reviewed by a team of specialists who have recommended this radiation treatment
- People aged 18 or older
- People who are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- People who have enough mental and verbal ability to fill out standardised questionnaires, as assessed by the study doctor
Who may not be able to join:
- People under 18 years of age
- People who have previously received systemic (whole-body) drug treatments specifically for liver cancer
- People who are currently receiving any systemic cancer treatment at the same time
- People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body (distant metastases)
- People who may not be able to follow the study requirements or complete the required questionnaires
- People who are unable to receive a contrast-enhanced CT scan (a type of detailed X-ray that uses a special dye) for treatment planning
- People who are not able to give informed consent to participate
- People who are under legal guardianship or custody arrangements that would prevent independent consent
