Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) meeting at least 4 out of 7 specific criteria set by the American College of Rheumatology.
• You had morning stiffness lasting at least 1 hour, for at least 6 weeks.
• You have had swelling in 3 or more joints for at least 6 weeks.
• You have had swelling in the wrists, knuckles, or finger joints closest to the knuckles for at least 6 weeks.
• You have swelling that affects the same joints on both sides of your body.
• Your hand X-rays show joint damage or bone loss related to RA.
• You have lumps under the skin known as RA nodules.
• Your blood test shows a positive result for Rheumatoid Factor (RF).
• You were 19 years old or older when you were diagnosed with RA.
• Your RA is currently active, meaning you have at least 1 swollen joint.
• You are about to start a new RA medication from a specific list of approved treatments (confirm exact medication eligibility with trial site).
• If you are already taking other RA medications, your dose has been stable for at least 6 weeks.
• If you are taking steroid tablets (such as prednisone), your dose has been stable for at least 2 weeks and is less than 10mg per day.
• You are able to attend study visits at enrollment, 8 weeks, and 16 weeks (give or take 2 weeks).
• Your blood test results are within acceptable ranges for red blood cells, platelets, kidney function, and liver function (confirm specific values with trial site).

Who may not be able to join:

• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
