- People who have been admitted to hospital for a heart attack and are already enrolled in the Frenchie registry

Who may not be able to join:

- People who have taken a course of antibiotic tablets or injections lasting more than 48 hours within the 3 months before joining the trial
- People who are currently experiencing acute (sudden or severe) heart failure
- People who have uncontrolled heart rhythm problems affecting the lower chambers of the heart
- People who would be unable to attend follow-up appointments during the trial
- People who are unable to lie flat or reclined for 20 minutes
- People who have been on immune-suppressing medication for more than one month within the 6 months before joining the trial
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to chlorhexidine, povidone, or 18-fluoro-deoxyglucose
