Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have shown signs of memory or thinking problems, based on a score from one of three recognised memory tests (confirm with trial site for specific score ranges)
  • You have been diagnosed with mild memory problems or dementia possibly related to Alzheimer's disease, reduced blood flow to the brain, Parkinson's disease, Lewy body dementia, or a combination of these conditions
  • You are able to give your own consent to take part, OR a trusted family member or caregiver can give consent on your behalf if needed
  • You have a caregiver available to help you use the sleep monitoring device at home, if needed

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have already been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (a condition where breathing stops during sleep) within the last 2 years
  • You are currently using a CPAP machine or a special dental device to treat previously diagnosed sleep apnea
  • You have a moderate to severe lung disease or a serious heart condition that could affect the accuracy of the sleep test device, or you have a permanent pacemaker or a history of certain irregular heart rhythms (confirm with trial site which device applies to you)
  • You use another medical device that would get in the way of wearing the sleep monitoring equipment
  • You have a significant physical disability or language difficulty that would make it hard to use the sleep test device or complete the study activities
