Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are currently in hospital being treated for sudden (acute) worsening heart failure
- People whose heart is not pumping as strongly as it should be (the heart's pumping strength is measured as less than 50%)
- People who are considered medically ready to be discharged from hospital after their acute heart failure treatment
- People aged 18 years or older

- People who have another serious illness where life expectancy is 3 months or less
- People on kidney dialysis (any type), or whose kidneys are functioning at a very low level at the time of joining the study
- People who have previously had surgery to remove part or all of a lung
- People with serious lung or chest lining conditions that would make lung ultrasound scans unreliable, such as severe emphysema, long-term fluid around the lungs, or lung scarring (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant, in labour, or currently breastfeeding
- People who are legally unable to give consent, or who are under a legal protection arrangement such as guardianship or curatorship
- People who are currently held in custody or detained under a judicial or administrative decision
- People currently receiving compulsory psychiatric care under specific French public health laws (confirm with trial site)
