  • You cannot take immunosuppressant (immune-lowering) medications, for example due to a history of certain cancers, hepatitis B or C, HIV, or a related virus (HTLV1)
  • You have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in a surgical product called TachoSil® (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a specific type of heart condition where the heart muscle is abnormally thick (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy)
  • Your kidneys are in severe failure, with very low kidney function at the time of joining the trial
  • Your liver is in severe failure at the time of joining the trial
  • You have had a stroke that caused lasting significant disability
  • You have another serious non-heart-related illness that is expected to shorten your life in the near future
  • You have any condition that would make it difficult to follow the study's rules and take medications as required
  • You are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving a treatment or procedure
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have a known or suspected problem with alcohol or drug misuse
