- People who currently have an acute or subacute bowel obstruction (a blockage in the intestines).
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding (pregnancy must be ruled out by a blood or urine test).
- People who have had another cancer diagnosed within the past 5 years, except for certain types of skin cancer or cervical cancer.
- People with a known history of drug or alcohol misuse.
- People who do not have the legal capacity to consent to participate.
