- People who do not have tinnitus (Tinnitus- Group)
- People who do not have epilepsy and have not had surgery on the temporal lobe of the brain (Chir- Group)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have severe or profound hearing loss in one or both ears
- People who are under a legal protection order, such as guardianship
- People for whom an MRI scan is not safe (for example, due to a metal implant), or who experience severe claustrophobia (confirm with trial site)
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding (this applies to those taking part in a specific second visit called V2)
