Stage 1 – Healthy volunteers:

- You currently live in São Paulo, Brazil
- You do not have any physical or intellectual disability that would stop you from attending or understanding an overnight sleep study in a lab

- You have at least one sleep disorder or sleep-related complaint (confirm with trial site for specific qualifying conditions)
Who may not be able to join:
Stage 1 – Healthy volunteers:
- You feel very sleepy during the day on a regular basis
- You currently have poor sleep quality
- You have any level of insomnia symptoms
- You have symptoms of depression
- You are considered high risk for sleep apnea
- You have other sleep-related symptoms (confirm with trial site)
- You drink alcohol excessively, use recreational drugs, or take medications that could affect sleep (such as sleeping pills, antidepressants, or steroids)
- You have any long-term (chronic) health conditions
- You are found to have a sleep disorder during the overnight sleep study
Stage 2 – People with sleep problems:
- You have no sleep disorders or sleep complaints
