Who might be able to join this trial:
- Your original colorectal (colon or rectal) cancer tumor was fully removed with surgery, leaving no cancer cells at the edges of the removed tissue
- You have cancer that has spread to the liver that cannot be removed with surgery, either from the start or after previous liver surgery
- Scans and a camera test of your colon have confirmed that your original cancer has not come back in its original location
- Scans have confirmed that the cancer has not spread to any parts of your body outside the liver
- You are generally in good health and able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation
- Your blood test shows your white blood cell (neutrophil) count is above a certain level (confirm with trial site for exact number)
- You have already received at least one course of chemotherapy for at least 3 months, and your cancer either shrank or stayed stable during that treatment
- Your blood level of a cancer marker called CEA (a protein sometimes raised in colorectal cancer) is either below a certain level or has dropped by at least half from its highest recorded level
- You have given written agreement to take part in the trial
- You have no other medical reasons that would prevent you from receiving a liver transplant

- You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer
- Your original colorectal cancer has come back in the same place it started
- Your cancer has spread to parts of the body other than the liver
- You have not received any chemotherapy treatment before joining the trial
- Your original tumor was only partially removed (for comfort rather than cure)
- The trial doctors have identified any other reason they feel makes it unsuitable for you to take part (confirm with trial site)
