Who might be able to join this trial:
- (For the main study group) People who have been diagnosed with a specific heart condition called arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (a disease affecting the right side of the heart's pumping chambers) and are scheduled for a heart electrical mapping procedure
- (For the comparison group) People who are scheduled for a heart procedure to correct an abnormal electrical pathway or a type of irregular heartbeat (atrial flutter), and who otherwise have a healthy heart
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with a long-term (chronic) inflammatory disease that affects the whole body
- People who have, or are suspected of having, heart involvement caused by an inflammatory disease, or who have an active or ongoing infection of any kind
- People who are currently taking medications that suppress or alter the immune system
