For people with normal hearing:

  • Adults between 18 and 35 years old
  • Hearing test results showing no hearing loss across a standard range of sound frequencies
  • Able to give informed consent and follow experimental instructions
  • Normal vision, or vision that is fully corrected with glasses or contact lenses

For people with hearing loss:

  • Adults between 18 and 80 years old
  • A confirmed diagnosis of sensorineural hearing loss (a type of hearing loss affecting the inner ear or auditory nerve)
  • Able to give informed consent and follow experimental instructions
  • Normal vision, or vision that is fully corrected with glasses or contact lenses

Who may not be able to join:
