Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with normal hearing:
- Adults between 18 and 35 years old
- Hearing test results showing no hearing loss across a standard range of sound frequencies
- Able to give informed consent and follow experimental instructions
- Normal vision, or vision that is fully corrected with glasses or contact lenses
For people with hearing loss:
- Adults between 18 and 80 years old
- A confirmed diagnosis of sensorineural hearing loss (a type of hearing loss affecting the inner ear or auditory nerve)
- Able to give informed consent and follow experimental instructions
- Normal vision, or vision that is fully corrected with glasses or contact lenses
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose first language is not English may not be eligible for some parts of the trial (confirm with trial site)
