Who might be able to join this trial:
- You use a CE-approved Nucleus brand cochlear implant that allows you to understand spoken words without lip-reading.
- You have been using your cochlear implant for at least three months.
- You are 18 years of age or older at the time you enter the study.
- You are fluent in the language that will be used during the study tests.
- You are able to understand speech well enough to complete the study tasks, as decided by the study doctor.
- You are willing and able to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable or unwilling to follow the requirements of the study, as decided by the study doctor.
- You have other health conditions that the study doctor believes would prevent or limit you from taking part in the hearing tests.
