Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are 18 years of age or older
  • People who have been in hospital for longer than 24 hours
  • People who have been in hospital for longer than 36 hours

  • People whose cognitive impairment prevents them from being able to cooperate with the trial

  • People who are currently receiving, or have previously received, treatment for sleep problems
  • People who have been diagnosed with dementia or another condition affecting memory and thinking
  • People who have received sedative (calming or sleep-inducing) medications in the last 24 hours
