Who might be able to join this trial:
- You received a cochlear implant at the Auditory Implant Center at China PLA General Hospital.
- You are between 16 and 90 years old.
- You have hearing loss and either had ringing in the ears (tinnitus) for more than 3 months before your cochlear implant surgery, or had no tinnitus at all before surgery.
- Your cochlear implant was made by one of these brands: MED-EL, Cochlear, Advanced Bionics, or Nurotron.
- You are willing to take part in the study voluntarily.
Who may not be able to join:
- Your tinnitus (ringing in the ears) is caused by a condition unrelated to the ear itself, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, stress-related nerve problems, or high cholesterol.
- You have a medical condition that means cochlear implant surgery is not safe or suitable for you, based on Chinese Medical Association guidelines (confirm with trial site).
- You have an intellectual disability.
