For the acoustic trauma military group:
- People aged between 18 and 65 years old
- People who are active or reserve military personnel
- People who have been diagnosed with noise-related hearing damage for at least one month
- People who are regularly seen at the ENT department of Desgenettes Army Training Hospital in Lyon, or at an Army Medical Center
- People who are able to understand the instructions given during the study
- People who are enrolled in a social security scheme
- People who have been informed about the study and have agreed to take part
For the normal hearing group:
- People aged between 18 and 65 years old
- People who are able to understand the instructions given during the study
- People who are enrolled in a social security scheme
- People who have been informed about the study and have agreed to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a known current or past neurological or psychiatric condition
- People with eye movement or vision problems
- People with no vestibular (balance system) function in both ears
- People who are under court protection, guardianship, or a similar legal arrangement
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with known hearing loss (this applies to the normal hearing group only)
