Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have chest pain or other symptoms suggesting reduced blood flow to the heart, or tests have shown your heart is not getting enough blood
  • A previously placed drug-coated stent in one of your heart's own arteries has narrowed again by 50% or more
  • An imaging scan called OCT (a detailed internal scan of the artery) has been done on the problem area
  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your heart is in a state of severe failure or shock
  • You have had a major heart attack (with specific heart rhythm changes) within the last 48 hours
  • The narrowed area is located in a specific main heart artery (left main trunk) or in a bypass graft
  • You are planning to have another heart procedure within 30 days of this one
  • Other artery blockages treated during the same procedure were not successfully treated
  • Your kidneys are not working well enough (confirm with trial site)
  • You have any known allergies or reasons you cannot use the devices or blood-thinning medications involved in this study
  • You are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, or have a positive pregnancy test
  • You have already taken part in this trial before, or are currently in another research study
  • You have cancer or another serious health condition that means you are not expected to live more than 12 months, or that might make it hard to follow the study plan
  • You are unable to fully follow all the requirements of the study
