Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are over 18 years old
- Your heart's electrical signal takes longer than usual to travel through the heart (a measurement called QRS of 150 milliseconds or more), measured before your device was put in
- Your heart failure is caused by a condition where the heart muscle is enlarged and weakened (called dilated cardiomyopathy)
- Your heart is beating in a normal, regular rhythm (called sinus rhythm)
- Your heart failure medications have been steady and unchanged for a period of time
- You have a specific abnormal electrical pattern in your heart called Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB)
- You already have a special heart device called a CRT (Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy) device
Who may not be able to join:
- Your kidneys are not working well enough (a kidney function score below 30 ml/min) (confirm with trial site)
- You have serious problems with one or more of your heart valves
- You have a permanent irregular heart rhythm called atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter
- You have previously had a procedure to open blocked heart arteries (stenting or bypass surgery)
- You have previously had a heart attack
- Your heart failure is caused by reduced blood supply to the heart muscle
- You already have a different type of heart device, such as a standard pacemaker or a defibrillator (ICD)
- You are not able to give your agreement to take part in the study
- You do not understand Danish
