Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer), confirmed by tissue or imaging tests
• People whose liver cancer tumour tissue tests positive for a protein called GPC3, based on a lab test of a tissue sample taken within the past year (if no stored tissue sample is available, a new biopsy will be needed)
• People whose liver cancer is at an intermediate or advanced stage that cannot be removed by surgery, based on a specific liver cancer staging system; those at the intermediate stage must have already tried or not been suitable for surgery or local treatments
• People who have already received at least two different types of systemic (whole-body) treatments, such as targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or chemotherapy, and whose cancer continued to grow or spread during or after those treatments
• People whose liver function falls within a certain acceptable range (Child-Pugh A or B7), with no history of a condition called hepatic encephalopathy (confusion caused by liver failure)
• People who are reasonably well and able to carry out daily activities, based on a standard medical scale (score of 0 or 1)
• People with an estimated life expectancy of at least 12 weeks
• People who have at least one measurable area of cancer that can be tracked during the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer has spread to the brain, spinal cord, or the lining around the brain and spinal cord
• People who have previously had a bone marrow or organ transplant
• People who have had a different type of cancer within the past 5 years (exceptions may include the liver cancer being studied, certain minor skin cancers, or early-stage cervical cancer — confirm with trial site)
• People with active hepatitis B infection that is not well controlled (certain test results and treatment conditions apply — confirm with trial site)
• People who test positive for hepatitis C, HIV, cytomegalovirus (CMV), or syphilis
• People who have previously received certain cell-based treatments, including therapies that specifically targeted the GPC3 protein, or treatments known as TCR-T or CAR-T therapy
• People whose bone marrow or organ function does not meet the required levels (confirm with trial site)
• People with any other health condition or disease that, in the treating doctor's judgement, could affect the trial results or would not be in the person's best interest
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
