Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children or adults who have already received, or are planned to receive, a hearing implant in one or both ears from the company MED-EL (either at the same time or in separate procedures).
- Children or adults who have already received, or are planned to receive, a non-surgically implanted hearing device in one or both ears from MED-EL.
- Children or adults who are current users of a MED-EL hearing solution — this includes cochlear implants, electric-acoustic devices, bone-anchored hearing devices, middle ear implants, or other hearing devices from MED-EL, whether used in one ear, both ears, or in combination with another hearing aid.
- People who have signed a written consent form agreeing to have their data collected for this registry.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not meet all of the inclusion criteria listed above.
- People for whom the trial investigator believes participation would put them at greater risk, or who may not be able to fully complete all of the registry procedures for any reason (confirm with trial site).
