- You are at least 21 years old

- You have significant bone loss around the ankle joint
- You have severe osteoporosis (very weak or brittle bones)

- You have an infection in or near the ankle, or an infection elsewhere in the body that could spread to the ankle
- You have a serious widespread infection (sepsis)
- You have poor blood circulation in the affected leg
- You have joints affected by nerve damage (confirm with trial site)
- You have a nerve or muscle condition that affects how you move, walk, or bear weight on your lower limb
- You have poor skin or tissue condition around the ankle area
- You have Charcot arthropathy (a condition causing joint damage due to nerve problems)
- You have previously had ankle fusion surgery where parts of the ankle bones were removed
- You place very high physical demands on your joints through activity or body weight, as decided by the study doctor
- You are under 21 years old at the time of surgery
- You have dementia
- You have a known allergy to metal
- You are unwilling to sign a consent form to take part in the study
- You are unlikely to be available for follow-up appointments over the full 10 years
- Your doctor does not consider you a suitable candidate for this device
- You are currently pregnant
