Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 85 years old.
- People who have had at least three episodes of a dangerous fast heart rhythm called ventricular tachycardia (VT) in the past six months, where their implanted heart device (ICD) had to deliver treatment to stop it.
- People whose VT has not been controlled by the highest tolerated doses of heart rhythm medications and/or a standard procedure to treat the abnormal rhythm (called catheter ablation).
- People who are either too unwell to undergo standard catheter ablation, or who do not wish to have it.
- People who have not previously had radiotherapy to the area of the body that would be treated in this trial.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a type of irregular heart rhythm called polymorphic VT or ventricular fibrillation (VF), rather than the specific type this trial targets.
- People whose heart failure is so severe that it requires continuous medication to keep the heart pumping, or who have a mechanical heart pump device (LVAD) already in place.
- People whose overall health means they are not expected to live more than 12 months, regardless of their heart rhythm condition.
- People whose VT may have a treatable underlying cause, such as a significant blockage in the heart's arteries or a hormonal or metabolic condition like an overactive thyroid.
- People who are not able to give their own informed consent to participate in the trial.
- People who have previously had radiotherapy to the area of the body that would be treated in this trial.
- People who weigh more than 170kg, due to the maximum weight limit of the imaging equipment used in the trial.

Change in quality of life and cardiac complications as assessed by clinical history, SF-36 questionnaire, electrocardiogram and echocardiography.; Efficacy endpoint - Cumulative VT burden 6 months before and 6 months after radiotherapy.
