Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are scheduled to have heart bypass surgery (coronary artery bypass grafting)
- People who are older than 19 years
- People whose bypass surgery will use a specific artery from the chest wall (left internal thoracic artery) and a vein taken from the leg (saphenous vein graft)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are also planned to have additional heart procedures at the same time, such as valve or aorta surgery

- People who need emergency surgery
- People who have a connective tissue disease (a condition affecting the body's structural tissues, such as lupus or Marfan syndrome)
- People who have previously had bypass surgery and are having it done again
