Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years or older and have nasal polyps in both nostrils
- Your nasal symptoms (such as blocked nose, reduced sense of smell, mucus dripping down your throat, sneezing, and runny nose) are still significantly affecting you despite receiving standard treatment, with a combined symptom score above 24 out of 50
- Your nasal polyps have been confirmed as serious enough to need surgery, based on specific scan results and examination scores, and your symptoms have lasted for at least 12 weeks before joining the study
- If you have asthma along with nasal polyps, your asthma must have been confirmed by a doctor through breathing tests or other standard assessments
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who could become pregnant
- People who have received certain biologic medicines (such as Omalizumab, Mepolizumab, Reslizumab, or Dupilumab), or who have previously been treated with Mepolizumab specifically
- People who have had allergy shots or allergy immunotherapy within the past 6 months
- People taking long-term steroid tablets or injections for another ongoing condition (such as an autoimmune disease or cancer)
- People who have taken certain medicines that suppress the immune system (such as methotrexate or cyclosporine) within the 3 months before joining, or who would need them during the study
- People with a known condition that weakens the immune system (confirm with trial site)
- People with a history of cancer of any kind, or other serious health conditions as decided by their doctor
- People whose main lung condition is something other than asthma — for example, COPD, cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis, or certain rare immune-related conditions affecting the lungs or other organs
- People who had a significant flare-up of their nasal polyps or asthma in the 12 weeks before joining the study that required more than 3 days of steroid tablets, a hospital stay, or an emergency room visit
