Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to provide written consent to participate
- Both men and women are eligible

- People whose life expectancy is less than six months

- People who are already receiving kidney dialysis or a similar kidney treatment before surgery
- People who have taken part in another drug or medical device study in the 30 days before joining this trial
- People who have another major surgery planned before the five-week follow-up appointment for this trial
- People the trial investigator considers unsuitable for inclusion for any other reason
- People who are pregnant
