Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, or HCC) and whose medical team has recommended a specific type of immunotherapy (called PD-1 or PD-L1 treatment) as their first treatment
- People whose liver cancer diagnosis has been confirmed either through specialised medical imaging (using a standard rating system called LI-RADS 2018) or through a tissue sample (biopsy)

- People who have given their verbal agreement to take part

- People who are not enrolled in or covered by a Social Security (health insurance) system
- People considered vulnerable under specific French health law (Article L1121-6) (confirm with trial site)
- Adults who are legally protected or who are unable to provide their own consent, under French health law (Article L1121-8)
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, under French health law (Article L1121-5)
- People for whom consistent follow-up may be difficult, such as those who may transfer care elsewhere, have difficulty attending appointments, or have another serious health condition that takes priority
