Who might be able to join this trial:
For young men who have sex with men (YMSM):
- People who identify as a young man who is romantically or physically attracted to other men
- People aged 15 to 30 years old
- People who have experienced at least one traumatic event in their lifetime, such as sexual assault, physical assault, or witnessing violence at home or in the community
- People who are currently sexually active with a partner by consent, or who plan to become sexually active with a partner in the next 12 months

For young people with substance use issues:
- People aged 15 to 30 who report using substances in the past year (if aged 15–17) or in the past 6 months (if aged 18–30)

- People who are currently sexually active with a partner by consent, or who plan to become sexually active with a partner in the next 12 months
- People who live in the Charleston, SC / Tri-county area
For frontline healthcare workers:
- People who work directly with young people who have experienced trauma, substance use issues, who identify as YMSM, or who are living with HIV
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently experiencing symptoms of psychosis
- People who have a significant cognitive disability
- People with a history of Pervasive Developmental Disorder (a condition affecting development and communication — confirm with trial site)
- People who are currently having thoughts of harming themselves or others
- People who report experiencing high levels of motion sickness
