Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been referred to Oslo University Hospital for a specific type of heart device implant (called CRT) or for a follow-up check after having one fitted
  • Your heart is beating in a normal, regular rhythm (called sinus rhythm)
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate heart failure (Class II or III) and are already on the best available medicines for your condition

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are younger than 18 years old or older than 80 years old
  • You currently have an irregular heart rhythm condition called atrial fibrillation
  • You have a condition where the electrical signals between the upper and lower chambers of your heart are fully blocked (called complete atrioventricular block)
